Aim: Educating pregnant women from low socio economic backgrounds about health care during pregnancy thereby encouraging health-seeking behaviour in them for safe deliveries
It is imperative for a pregnant woman to get a safe and healthy environment around her. Prenatal care is an important part of basic maternal health care. It is recommended expectant mothers receive at least four antenatal visits.
Through our program we educate pregnant women from under served communities in topics like Nutrition, Care During Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Family Planning.
Our coordinators also follow-up with women till the time of their delivery for regular Ante natal clinic (ANC) visits, Medical Tests and Hospital Registration. This way, we are trying to motivate and help women to make healthy choices and deliver safely.
